  1. Mossimo is always a good idea.

Jeans are pants made from denim though, dear.
Anything else is just denim--denim jackets, denim skirts, denim dresses, never jean.

  3. Those clothes look great on you and I'm jealous of the fact that you own a belt that stays together.

  5. No, that ignorant, rude comment wasn't by Jade. But this one is...

In fact, whoever the anonymous snob is who wrote the first comment, you are completely incorrect. The term jean, in fact, does not refer to a pair of blue jeans.

Jean is actually an interchangeable term with denim. Back in Genoa in the 1500’s, jean was a material worn by Genovese sailors and would eventually evolve to become the textile and fashion industry phenomenon that it is today.

The story goes that “jean” derives from the word Genoa. It refers to the material that sailors used in their pants. It was a coarse cotton-wool and/or linen blend, and still is today.

Therefore, you CAN have a jean jacket, a jean skirt, and a jean dress. Don't let anyone edit your blog for you, my baby. Stay true to you instincts and call me if you ever have any questions.

Therefore, your adorably "not-so-jean" dress is actually jean. But you can call it anything you like.

Stop being an ignorant bitch, Anonymous. Get your own blog.
